Around the World in 4100 Days
On his voyage, Seki is chronicling his experience with a journal, a date book and a photo journal. Though his journey's still in its early stages, he's nearly filled the scrapbook. Seki will continue to move down the coast, having more adventures and stopping at more ports along the way. He plans to return to Marina del Rey in February to participate in the Marina del Rey to Puerto Vallarta Yacht Race. He also plans to have his family meet him soon. After that, he will head southwest to Australia, French Polynesia and New Zealand for two years, before making his western trip around Africa, north through Europe, and west again through the Caribbean Sea and through the Panama Canal. He'll touch U.S. soil one more time in Hawaii. He plans to arrive back in Japan sometime around June 2016.

Walk Through a History of Toronto's Photography
These days Toronto's photobloggers are a busy bunch: they're giving lectures, hosting Wii parties, and, of course, filling the internet with thousands upon thousands of unique views of our city. While the City's official "Cultural Renaissance" is contributing a great deal to the general excitement we feel about the city these days, the work of Toronto's photobloggers is equally responsible for helping us re-imagine our city in exciting new ways. Of course, photobloggers haven't alreadys been around, so if you want to see some older photos of Toronto you've got to head to the City Archives. Right now is a great time to do just that, because a a new exhibit has opened showcasing pictures taken of the city over the course of its history. "A Visual Legacy: The City of Toronto's Use of Photography, 1856-1997" runs until September 22, 2007.
